Some examples of paintings produced on commission - requested by the sitters themselves, their families, friends or colleagues. All but one are portraits, the exception is a landscape showing a scene near the childhood home of the client.  

I always prefer to work from my own original photographs and usually need to arrange a photo-session during which I can also get to know the sitter. In some cases, especially with international projects, this is not possible. In cases like this, I will sometimes consider working from photographs, video and background information supplied to me.
